Toyota Tundra Interior Review

Toyota Tundra Towing

2019 Toyota TundraHaul your 25-foot-long camping trailer with ease thanks to the i-FORCE 5.7-liter V8 engine in the Tundra. This motor outputs 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque to help you tow up to 10,200 pounds. To help simplify towing, select Tow/Haul Mode. This system intuitively holds gears longer to eliminate the need to hunt for gears when carrying a heavy load. It also increases throttle response, pulling power, and engine braking to keep you firmly in control of your trailer.

Toyota Tundra Capability

To help you tackle unpredictable terrain, an Automatic Limited Slip Differential comes standard. This system detects when your wheels have lost traction and applies the brakes individually to them, to keep you in command of the road. Without cutting engine power, it distributes power where it’s most effective, keeping you planted in place, allowing you to crawl over rocks with confidence and grace.

Toyota Tundra Cargo Space

In addition to offering a superior towing capacity, the Tundra can take on a maximum payload of 1,730 pounds, giving you a helping hand around your worksite. When you’re carrying around bulky and important equipment, an available deck rail system features four adjustable tie-down cleats. Each tie-down is rated at 220 pounds, so your heavier gear will be secured when you’re traveling from worksite to worksite, even if the road gets bumpy.
